Česká pošta (Czech post) introduced a new website

Effortless orientation, a higher user comfort, a fulltext search, an email newsletter system, a new Clients’ Zone with on-line service and more detailed information on particular post offices. These are few of the advantages for clients prepared by Česká pošta on its website. The new appearance can be viewed at www.ceskaposta.cz. The website is in compliance with international standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

The postal website was completely redesigned with respect to a good arrangement, reliability, timelessness and the most uncomplicated use. Therefore the new graphics by the tender winner, MEDIA FACTORY, is light, sheer and modern. „User testing results and first users’ reactions are confirmation of the implementation’s success. The users find the new web presentation captivating and likeable while appropriately representing a state enterprise. At the same time, it allows an easy and quick access to information by combining navigation methods, which is crucial,“ adds Leoš Špachta, MEDIA FACTORY Marketing & Sales Director.

The new design is not final yet; it will be further developed by clients’ suggestions and needs and according to a growing offer of services. Users may prepare for new web calculators or more on-line services in the Clients’ Zone shortly.

„The Česká pošta web presentation aims at offering potential and current clients a general summary of available products and services, information about its branch offices or a possibility to track sent consignments,“ said Václav Beníšek, Česká pošta’s webdesigner.

The new website contains a set of more than fifty icons clearly and comprehensively representing each field and service offered by the company to its clients. The icons created for on-line communication of Česká pošta got a fine printing-ink form later on and they are used in complex communication of this traditional company.
