The New Sharp-Edged Corporate Identity of MEDIA FACTORY

MEDIA FACTORY refreshed its CI in Spring 2011. Even though the change is not a revolutionary one, it cannot be overlooked.

The New Sharp-Edged Corporate Identity of MEDIA FACTORY

Corporate Identity: Always Different, Always the Same

Perhaps every company changes its logo once in a while. On one hand, the goal is to surprise, on the other, there is still a need for maintaining the link between separate corporate identity development stages. Therefore just a font or logotype or part of the claim can be changed (recently made by Seznam.cz) and even if the change affects apparent details, its impact can be relatively big. On the contrary, entire logo replacement is not so frequent and even in this case, companies try to act unobtrusively if not conservatively (which can be seen on new Škoda logo).

The New MEDIA FACTORY Logo

In the case of MEDIA FACTORY, the changes affected more or less all levels of CI but not all of them to the same degree. Gray and red corporate colors remain and the new logotype differs from the older one only microscopically.

The new logo is where the graphic designers' work is more evident at first glance. Its character is more minimalistic than the original and symbolizes well the company's main qualities: precision, sophisticated technologies, innovation. The removal of the outer rim of MF initials more explicitly emphasizes that the solution of MEDIA FACTORY aims at the heart of the matter and does not stick to irrelevant things.

The New MEDIA FACTORY Claim

The company slogan underwent the most significant change. The former technicist claim "Advanced Technology & Design" was replaced with the more straightforward "Making Internet Earn", which illustrates the shift of MEDIA FACTORY from purely web specialization to a complex offer of other activities with emphasis on marketing. A web page is, after all, a marketing tool and its development must go hand in hand with preparation of other ingredients of the on-line marketing mix.

The Four Pillars of MEDIA FACTORY

An alternative to the main logo is represented with a complementary logo, in which orange, green, blue and purple bars symbolize the four pillars of the agency production: Strategy, Interactive, Marketing and Development. The mission of the complementary logo is to specify the scope of MEDIA FACTORY and enrich its visual style with new, non-corporate, colors.

Great Expectations

The new graphic and verbal elements of MEDIA FACTORY brand communication have appeared on corporate cards, compliment cards, in headers or in templates of business documents since the beginning of March. This process obviously cannot happen at once. The company communication is now at a transitional phase. However, perhaps more striking changes will happen soon. Like what? How about redesigning our website!
